My Nightly Skin Care Routine

I can’t be the only girl who loves to do my make up in the mornings.  It is probably one of my favorite things because makeup just makes me feel better about myself almost instantly.  I just enjoy the feeling of being put together, but even if you don’t that’s okay too!  The biggest struggle comes at night when it times to take off my makeup before I go to bed.  Honestly, I dread it because it’s so tedious and I typically just want to go to sleep!

Thankfully, I have finally found a simple night time routine that I am willing to commit to because it is so easy.  The first product I swear by is my Makeup Eraser.  The first thing is removing my makeup which is typically the hardest part, but with the eraser, it is SO easy! All you do is just add water to the eraser!  It has two sides – you use one side to remove foundation, powder, blush, etc.  The other side is similar to an exfoliator to remove mascara, eyeliner, brow liner.  The best thing about it besides removing all your make up is that it doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily after.

From there, I have found the simplest way to clean and prep my face for the next day.  I wash my face with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser.  I have tried every cleanser on the market, and I find that it fully removes my make up without drying my face out.  It is also fairly affordable and can be used daily without any side effects

My top three products that I quickly apply before hitting my pillow are Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, and Rapid Lash – Eyelash Enhancing Serum.  As you can see, I am a big fan of Kiehl’s because I have seen great results with their product.  Ever since I started college, I swear the circles under my eyes just keep getting bigger every year closer to graduation.  It doesn’t matter how much sleep I get try to get, the circles never go away.  The Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye is the first product I have found to reduce swelling, dark circles, and moisturize all in one.  Then, I apply Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.  Yes, it is an oil, but it does not leave your skin feeling oily the next morning whatsoever.  It brightens and refreshes your skin from all the chemicals you were exposed to during the day.  My final step is applying Rapid Lash serum onto my eyelashes.  I have always wanted long eyelashes, but I was not blessed with that lucky gene.  I’ve considered getting eyelash extensions, but I worry about the potential damage to my eyelashes from them.  I purchased this Rapid Lash Serum from Ulta as an impulse purchase.  I have seen drastic results from using this product over the last few months.  My eyelashes have grown! This is a pricey product, but if you are trying to grow your lashes then it is definitely worth the money!
